For all small machinery repairs we charge an initial 'Diagnosis & Repair Fee' of £50. This includes local collection/delivery and the first hour of work. Parts, if required, are on top. Additional labour is charged at £40/hour however this is rarely required for small machinery.
Once diagnosed we can then look at servicing your machine at a discounted rate.

This is your where we set ourselves apart from our competition.
Prices for Ride mower servicing have become ridiculous. This is done to encourage you to buy new machinery instead of looking after perfectly serviceable equipment.
However by charging a reasonable labour rate and using high quality aftermarket parts (which often exceed OEM specification) we are able to offer this for a much more reasonable price.
Unlike smaller machinery there is no 'one size fits all' approach to servicing and what is required will depend upon age, condition, use and size of your machine.
However typically a ride mower service consists of:
Air Filter (Replace)
Spark Plug (NGK Equivalent)
Oil Change (SAE 30)
Blade Sharpen + Balancing
Deck Alignment
Greasing and lubrication of relevant areas
Tire Pressures
General tidy up
Local Collection/Delivery
Where possible we will look to conduct both servicing and repairs at your address. However if there is not suitable space, or if more complicated repairs are required, we will look to collect and bring back to our workshop. This is typically done at our discretion.

A typical 2 stroke service includes:

Fresh Fuel (Relevant Ratio 50:1/40:1)

Sharpening if required can also be performed and price will depend upon what it is (cutter/chain) and the size. Aftermarket chains are typically quite cheap and may be preferred instead of sharpening.

We look after all types of electric garden machinery whether it be cordless or corded.
Typical repairs includes: Replacing cut power cords, broken control switches and fixing structural damage.
There are several considerations to make before getting yours repaired:
Often they are cheaper than their gas powered counterparts and as such it can quickly become uneconomical to repair.
Often they are designed in such way that makes them impossible to repair, especially cheap designs from homebase, Aldi etc.
They are relatively simple in terms of components often consisting of little more than a motor, casing and cutting implement. Having to replace the motor almost always costs more than replacing the machine unless it is an expensive machine (>£200)

We look after all sorts of equipment (typically from returning customers) ATVs, Pressure Washers, Light Plant and much much more. If its smaller than a tractor/car we can almost certainly repair/service.
It is of course impossible to set a price for these but it will be inline with similar sized garden machinery.
